This site is dedicated to learning. I encourage viewers to come in and ask questions about wood and guitars. I will always be a "student" and strive to learn with every project I begin. Come in, if you play guitar --- play, if not, enjoy the beautiful woods. Most of all, enjoy the moment, life is full of them.

Myrtlewood fretboard
Myrtlewood fretboard: ready to go, fretted, and trimmed. Next step will be to shape and polish the ends (so I don't slice my fingers) Then mount it on its Myrtlewood body. The vacant fret areas will be where the locator pins will be so it won't slide when its glued to the neck.
